Is there a way to bulk assign one artist to several tasks/shots? Eg. I pick a bunch of shots, select the task/s and assign the artist to all at once.
Have been in touch with support about this and from what I understand it’s not possible (was some time ago tho’)? Seems like pretty basic functionality to me?

Thanks for posting it on the community. Yay, it’s a basic functionality that Shotgun does support.
You could go to Tasks/shots page, use cmd+left click(Shift+ left click on Windows?) to multi-selected tasks. And then right click to get an action menu to get the Edit Selected option:
And then you could batch add/remove/overwrite the user(s) in the assigned to field.
It works for batch editing actions on other fields, but not all of the other fields.
