It seems like it would make sense if this forum platform (Discourse) had the capacity to upvote posts to create a board based on feature requests that users are looking for, and then the ability to upvote on feature requests if multiple users are looking for the same thing?

Cool idea and something under consideration.
Currently, the Shotgun Product Team collects and tracks feature request feedback and insight over here on their public roadmap portal. On the Roadmap Portal, you can submit new ideas or add your support to an existing one and the Product Team can then directly reach out to follow up.

Just went to check out your roadmap, which looks good but I believe you would have more engagement if you were to showcase your roadmap and feature requests here on SG Community Discourse. It doesn’t make sense to send users to Productboard in my opinion.
