Is Shotgun Create app launchable from a network location?

I was trying to install Shotgun Create app to a network location for our entire studio by executing the ShotgunCreate.msi file targeting to the network location, but it looks like it’s still forced to install locally to, C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Shotgun Create.

I’m just wondering if the app is restricted to only local installation.

Any pointers greatly appreciated.

Hi @keikun,

You can relocate the Shotgun Create folder anywhere and it should work without issues. The app bundle is designed to be relocatable on both Windows, MacOS and Linux. The important part is that you need move everything inside that folder without changing the file structure. The app bundle is designed to be relocatable on both Windows, MacOS and Linux.

Is Shotgun Desktop app also designed to be relocatable on both Windows, MacOS and Linux as Shotgun Create app does? I just wanted to double check with you.
