Reveal linked file in folder or copy it's path while in browser

Doesn’t appear to be a way to open the folder that a linked file is located in. You can click the link and the browser will launch the file into whatever application assigned to it. Likewise there does not appear to be a way to simply copy the file path.

My workaround for now is to also add the file path to a string field so the text can be selected and copied.

Hi @gmaskfx,

Unfortunately basic OS file links don’t have an option to open containing folder, but there is a toolkit kit app called tk-shotgun-launchfolder (Link), and as long as you have an advanced config set up for your project you can use it in the right click options on published files under “Show in File System”;

Shot_001_0010___Nuke_Nodes

This will launch the containing folder as long as you have access to it.
