RV store crash log

Hi everyone,

I would like to know if it was possible to store crash logs from RV in a common folder via an environment variable or common line. I read the user/references manual of rv, and I didn’t find any information regarding this.
This would be really helpful to monitor our RV activity and better our studio artists use of RV. We are currently using the last version of RV 2021 in a CentOS 7 distribution.

Hey @Valentin,

Have you tried setting RV_CRASH_DMP_DIR variable? That should get you what you’re looking for. Please note that on Windows, we don’t have crash logs from RV. It’s a known bug, but hasn’t been addressed yet.
