The password reset process only sends an email if the email you provided matches with a user on the site. From what you said, it seems like the email you provided to the password reset page wasn’t the one used on Shotgun. Can you try again the password reset process with either another email you own or your shotgun login on that site?
Also, the password reset only works if the login/email exists on the site where you triggered the password reset.
Finally, if you are still blocked after all these tentatives, I invite you to Submit a ticket so we can try to find the root of the issue.
