Tk-multi-publish2 not calling before_app_launch

Hi!
I notice today that when I launch the standalone Publisher from the desktop app, it doesn’t seem to be called the before_app_launch hook. The hook gets called correctly when I launch any of the DCCs. Should it be called automatically? or should it be defined somewhere in one of the env yamls?

I do still have this question, however, I solved my current problem by moving the code from before_app_launch to engine_init
