Photoshop open template with distributed config

Hi,

I’m trying to get Photoshop use open a file to use as a template when its first launched from shotgun desktop.

I’ve tried using hooks but I can’t seem to figure out how they are configured using the distributed config.

I’m not super experienced with shotgun so any help would be greatly appreciated.

How to get templates within before_app_launch.py

Hi, I’d like to access templates within the engine context (in this case Nuke) before it launches. However whenever I use self.parent.sgtk.templates['some_template'] it always comes up as None. Is there some way to access project templates within the app context?
