RV does not start via Remote Desktop since Windows update

Ever since I have updated my remote pc to the newest windows update (OS build 19041.572) RV has stopped working. When I try to open an exr that I was able to open previously, RV would open and close straight away according to the task manager.

I am remote connected using Windows remote desktop to a laptop with a Quadro RTX 3000. Interstingly enough, if I remote connect via Chrome remote desktop, the viewer works, so I’m guessing it has something to do with the new update?

Does anyone know what I would need to change to have RV working again?

Apologies for not replying to you sooner.

Do you have GPU rendering enabled for your RDP?

Could you please open RV, try playing EXR, then close it. After that could you please send us (support@shotgunsoftware.com) System and Application logs? You can get how-to here:

Also, if you haven’t already, could you please open up a support request with NVIDIA? RDP should work with RTX 3000, and perhaps they’re already aware of this problem with latest Windows update.
